TabletPCBuzz.com Forum Rules and Guidelines

The following are the only three rules that are set in place for the TabletPCBuzz forums. Any posts violating this policy will be subject to deletion by a moderator. Final decision on whether a post violates these rules will be left up to the moderators.

1. No commercial posts allowed in any forum except for the announcements forum. Commercial posts are defined as any post by a company representative advertising a product the company sells or produces. Posts are allowed by company representatives when they are asking a question of the TabletPCBuzz users. For instance, questions like "what do you think of this product?" and "what types of improvements or new products would be beneficial to you in this area?". Posts that contain these questions can have some background information on the company and product in question.

2. No cross-posting. This means that you may not post an identical post twice using two separate forums. The lowers the quality of the forum, and causes you to end up with multiple replies in different forums.

3. No bad language. Period. TabletPCBuzz is a family friendly site, and the moderators intend for it to stay that way.

General Posting Guidelines

These are not "rules" per-say; rather they are suggestions for you to follow that will enhance the forum experience for everyone.

1. Make sure you choose the correct forum for your post. For example, don't post your question about a Motion Computing Tablet PC in the HP/Compaq Tablet PC forum.

2. Try and include links to things you mention in your post. For example, if you mention you bought something at CDW, then include the URL to that item on CDW. It makes it much easier for those who wish to learn more about the item in question.

3. Most of all, have fun! These forums are meant to be a place for Tablet PC users to discuss their problems, excitements, and news. This isn't a boot camp, so loosen up and have fun!

Even if a post does not violate any of the above, the moderators still have final authority on whether a post is allowed to stay or not. If you have any questions on these rules and guidelines, feel free to contact me (spg@tabletpcbuzz.com). Thank you for visiting TabletPCBuzz!
