Howdy everyone:
Just going to put out that I'm a student really close to buying a tablet PC and I'm looking for some help. Right now I'm looking about buying the C112, in specific, this one:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=34-115-161&depa;=0
Because its small and light and fairly cheap. I'm also looking at the toshiba m200 series but I don't know if I'm willing to spend that much money as of right now. Regardless, after doing a little more digging, including a review on this site, I found that acer has alot of problems with case strength and so forth and that over a fairly short period of time my tablet will break. This is going to be something I'm going to carry around alot so durability is key. I dont know if I'm talking to a biased forum or not but I'm looking for anyone's feedback. I'm just trying to see if I should cross it off the list or not.
Thanks ya'll

I've carrying around mine in my bookbag since september and coverting between tablet and laptop about 10 times a day and nothing has failed yet. You simply have to realize that the end support latches are rather fragile and act acordingly. For the money you're not going to get a better pc. 4500rpm hard drive sucks but that will be remedied soon. |

I use my c111 at home mostly, and occasionally take it on the road, and I have had no issues whatsoever.
I would buy another again, although the new Fujitsu convertible with a removable optical drive has caught my eye. |

The T4000 or T4010

12 inch screen, optical drive removable to put in an additional battery. Sweet. I like my C112, but I agree about the Fujitsu. |
