[:D] Some types of things I'm considering, feel free to addon...

1) Best headset/mic for audio and phone use (mono or stereo)
2) Bluetooth cell phone (I have a treo300 now)
3) Tell me more....

Cost is always a factor so if you have a ballpark price of what your toy cost you include that too. Thanks everyone....
http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22066LG lt20 accessories?Hi there,
I was wondering a few things about accessories?

1 > do you know if all stylus/pen will work with the LG LT20 (my tablet)? It came with two pens but I wanted one with the eraser feature? I can't seem to find anything specifically for this tablet and was wondering about it's compability with other pens?

2 > I also am unable to find a screen protector for my tablet. I've read about the screen protectors making the screen less slippery and I'd really appreciate that feature.
Thanks!http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22166Portable ScannerI'm interested in a portable scanner that I can use to "scroll" over pages. I'd like to be able to open a book and roll the scanner over it. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

Here's an example.

http://www.laptoptravel.com/Product.aspx?ID=2109http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21940"Picture Frame" Bumpers for TabletPC's...?I'm looking for a rubber or silicone "picture frame" style bumper for my Fujitsu ST5000 tablet. Something like the colored bumper that Sahara sells for its TPC's.

I've talked to Fujitsu (no luck) and I've asked a couple Buzz members (XDS and rbushway, both helpful, but again nothing suitable). Also, I've talked to the folks that make those expen$ive OtterBoxes. They thought that it was an interesting idea, but didn't have a product along those lines.

To answer those who will inevitably wonder why I don't just use Fujitsu's Bump Case, I do... but "thin" as it is, I find that it adds an objectionable amount of bulk to my tablet, especially in thickness (and it looks kind of clunky). I keep thinking that I ought to be able to find something better.

Anyone have any leads...? Thankshttp://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21894Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for BluetoothI've been trying to get my new Bluetooth mouse & keyboard up on my Fujitsu ST4120 to no avail. To following message appears:

IntelliType Pro Bluetooth Connection Wizard is not supported by this version of Windows. For more information, refer to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=30610 .

Anyone know a workaround for this snafu?

Thanks,http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21962Targus ChillHub: The worst technology everSo I finally got over my stingyness and spent the $50. Wow. So I waited a while to open it because it took a while for me to be convinced thats what I wanted. The first comment I made upon opening it up (you can ask my friends) was, "Wow this thing feels cheap."

But I figured it was just lightweight so it could be mobile too. So began my journey. This thing sucks. I noticed quickly it really appeared to do little for cooling the notebook. I think it made the plastic cooler, and while I think it cooled the actual insides, it quite simply did not perform. I think running my USB fan and pointing it at the M200 would be better cooling (honestly).

This was also a PAIN to use in anything but a desktop environment. It worked okay on the lap, but if your like me at all and you werent kidding when you wanted a MOBILE device, well, be forwarned.

So I was like hey, this is crap, im going to return it. So I start to package it back up only to find it was BROKEN! I dont know (dont think so) if it was broken when I got it, or if I broke it, but I was right when I guessed on its cheap build quality.

In fact about the only thing I found remotely acceptable on this peice was the USB hub which worked plug and play no problems. And the nice thing with it was it would relocate the USB plugs to a more comfortable position when in slate mode (for my USB light and USB fan).

I was able to return it, but I think thats the end of my trial with that. There was a cooling pad at Fry's that looked sturdy, and it had three fans, I might try out. But frankly I think I may try building my own, or if I want to void my warranty open this up and make it cool MUCH more efficiently.

Overall the only situation i would reccomend the Targus ChillHub would be in a work scenario where you bring your notebook to a desk, sit it down, and run it sitting there. I beleive the build is exactly the same on the other Targus chillpad or whatever their other USB powered one is. The only difference (if I recall correctly) is the added 4 USB 2.0 ports and the ability to be powered by outlet with the TargusChillhub.http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20983two button Wacom PensThis is probably old news but.....

I have been using Wacom tablets for years on my desktop PC's and always thought it was so stupid to have only a one button pen on my tablet (Acer C111). Well today I was plying around in the control panel and decided to open the tablet properties icon.

Lo and Behold if there isn't the option for a two button pen. And it just so happens I have a pen for an old ART II digitiser. The pen looks identical to my Acer except it has two buttons and no shirt clip.

The buttons are also fully configurable so now I have a pen button that is set for "control/enter" to fast open web pages, but you can set almost any function. Works perfectly[:D] So if you have a wacom tablet you may be able to use the pen and get additional functionality on your tablet.

Gordonhttp://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21202TiVo on your Tablethttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6778135/

Yeah, can't wait to try this!!!

quote:
No longer confined to TiVo digital video recorders in the living room or bedroom, subscribers will be able to transfer their recorded shows to PCs or laptops and take them on the road — as long as the shows are not specially tagged with copy restrictions. HP's own SD Camera sounded ideal, but having searched around it doesn't seem to be compatible with anything other than iPaqs. An alternative might be this Pretec camera, but I still don't know if it's compatible.

Does anyone have any experience with a SD webcam? It seems that Toshiba only sell them in the US, and I can't find a UK supplier.

However, I have found these ones via RM's website (actually 1 would do me!). RM also have some Pens that are cheaper than Toshiba spare pens. Does anyone know if they work? I've seen people in the HP area discussing that they work with HP tablets.http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21310
