Announcing Multiplicity

Hi,

I thought some of you may be interested to learn that Stardock have released a new piece of software that allows you to control two or more computers using the same keyboard and mouse. They call it Multiplicity and anyone familiar with using Synergy (like me)will find that there are obvious similarities in their use. However it seems that Multiplicity includes the features no that may be some way off for Synergy users ie. drag and drop files from one pc to another.

I'm waiting to see some feedback before I install it as Synergy works fine for me at the moment but I'll provide an update when I inevitably make the jump.

Issues with uninstall and the third party protection software are fixed now. It took us by surprise that the 21-day wrapping software was not 100% TabletPC ready. SP2 had major impact on the difference between XP and XP TabletPC Edition.

TabletPC / Software promotional video

Hi there.

I thought I would try posting to this forum, a short web infomercial geared at selling the tabletpc to a more creative market.

I have been filled with wonder, as to why Microsoft dosen't aggresively promote the tabletpc as a tool for artists! Just think what a full page ad in Wired magazine featuring an artist or animator at work would do! The tablet wows all of my artist friends, and stops mac users cold in the cafes. I want to see the technology succeed, so I've created this spec creative piece.

My associate Dick Wright and I have created a short video, that was initially aimed at Motion Computing products, (they respectfully declined our pitch at this time), we then modified the presentatino to include Alias Sketchbook Pro, in our example.

I was in a few videos for Wacom / Bauhas Mirage, featuring myself using the Wacom Cintiq tablets, and took the idea to the tablet pc.

TIP support in Firefox

I have written a Firefox extension that allows the pop up TIP to work normally in Tablet PC XP SP2.

The software is released under BSD license. The software (about 100 lines of code) is provided within the extension.
